We feel so blessed about getting the opportunity to share our cabins with amazing people all around. We feel led to not only do everything in our business with excellence, but to also build and curate an experience where our guests can experience the Lords peace and presence in and amongst nature. I cannot thank Courtney and Evan enough for making my now fiancé and my weekend special. They were SUPER communicative throughout the booking process, offered both flexible and additional amenities to accommodate our needs, and gave us a nice encouragement as we were checking out.
The place was just what we were looking for and it met and exceeded our expectations. From the small secluded and comfortable cabin, the nook, the decorations, the very many things to do, and the complementary coffee at the local cafe to celebrate.
Would not have changed a single thing and hope everyone else can experience what we have on our weekend there. Thank you!

The Step was the first cabin we ever built. There are a lot of memories behind building this cabin and it will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Staying at this little gem is a simple stay where you can enjoy the peace and quiet, star gaze at the night sky, play a game of scrabble in the cozy cabin or maybe just read a book near the smokeless fire-pit. Whatever you do here, you will feel like you’re off the grid on a little piece of paradise.

Literally the best airbnb I’ve ever been to, I wanted a place to get away for a little while and just have some me time and this definitely gave me that. I got to have a nice little outdoor experience making smores, playing disk golf, and grilling food. And then getting to chill inside watching movies on the projector and relaxing on the comfy bed. It’s really beautiful too, I will definitely be coming back again!

The Trek is the second cabin we built. We were able to learn many things during the building process at The Step and wanted to curate something a little different/unique for our second cabin. The Trek takes ‘glamping’ to another level. It is loaded with a kitchen (all year round) and operating water through the months of May-October. It even has an outdoor shower! At The Trek you can enjoy a cup of joe on our deck looking at the river, star gaze while taking a shower outdoors, reminisce near the fire pit or lay in bed enjoying a film on the projector.
